DAOhaus v2
DAO Operators
Networks

DAOhaus works on various networks other than Ethereum mainnet.

These guides should help you get setup and ready to interact with your DAO on networks other than Ethereum mainnet. Typically all you need to do is setup Metamask for a network and know where to bridge tokens. Everything else acts the same as Mainnet, except transactions are a substantially less expensive and faster, allowing for wider participation.

First, go to your Metamask wallet and click on the networks tab and go to "Custom RPC". From here you will want to go through the following 👇

Gnosis Chain (Formerly xDai)

Add to Metamask

Network Name: Gnosis Chain
New RPC URL: https://rpc.xdaichain.com/
Chain ID: 0x64 (100)
Symbol: xDai
Block Explorer URL: https://blockscout.com/xdai/mainnet

In-depth Guide: https://www.xdaichain.com/for-users/wallets/metamask/metamask-setup (opens in a new tab)

Bridge Tokens

xDAI to DAI: http://bridge.xdaichain.com/

Once you are on the xDai bridge site, you will see the amount of Dai you have on Ethereum Mainnet as well as the amount of xDAi that you have available on xDai Chain. (You can easily navigate between xDai side chain and Ethereum Mainnet if you click on the networks tab your Metamask Wallet)

In order to swap your Mainnet Dai for xDai, you need to be connected to Ethereum Mainnet. If you want to swap your xDai for Dai, you need to be connected to xDai Side chain.

To swap your tokens enter the amount you are looking to swap and hit "transfer".

... And just like that, you have your xDai on xDai Side Chain

Polygon (Formerly MATIC)

Add to Metamask

Network Name: Matic Mainnet
New RPC URL: https://rpc-mainnet.maticvigil.com/
Chain ID: 137
Symbol: MATIC
Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.matic.network/
